 Dear friends and colleagues,
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I undertake my role as President of the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSORPS) to welcome you to the APSORPS web site. I will share with you a few words about this organisation and its future directions.
The APSORPS was founded in 2000 to promote training, education, research, and quality of clinical practice in the fields of ophthamic plastic and reconstructive surgery for ocuoplastic surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes disseminating information, organizing meetings and workshops to encourage scientific exchanges and networking, among its members. One of the inherent obejectives of the APSORPS is to work intimately with other organisations that have similar aspirations. With the contribution and dedication of all individuals, I sincerely hope the APSORPS will gain recognition and repute in this region and around the world.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the former presidents for their significant contribution to the APSORPS. I believe the APSORPS will definitely gain greater recognition in this region and around the world with your continued support.
